The anticipated Veuve Clicquot Carnaval came and went so quickly. The event took place a couple of weeks ago and per usual, it was pretty amazing. I mean, who says no to endless champagne and rosé. Mix that with great music and your favorite people and you’ve really got the best combo ever. I shot some footage of the event here in Miami and put together a short video. You may or may not see a dance sesh in action. 🙂 Ejoy!

As you can tell, my impatience cause me to once again cut my hair. This time, way shorter than I wanted but luckily now I find myself obsessed with it. Short hair has become part of my identity and I really can’t imagine myself with long hair anymore. So bizarre, I know.

I purchased this little NICHOLAS number during ShopBop’s sale and I definitely came out winning. I’ve been wanting a burnt orange dress for awhile now, something fun and a bit out of my comfort zone (I do not own a single orange tone item!). This dress is IT. It’s long and flowy, has cut outs in the right places and the best touch is the neck tie with a bow detail in the back. My absolute favorite.

Basically, the perfect spring/summer dress to make you feel all kinds of pretty. Who doesn’t need that in their closet?

Wearing: NICHOLAS the label dress (SIMILAR), Gucci chain wallet, Zara hoop earrings and sandals

MIAMI SWIM WEEK

Miami Swim Week has been officially over for about a week already. This year was a bit different from the previous years, not only venues wise but just the way I chose to experience it. My schedule was filled from the a.m to p.m but I decided to roll with it rather then be stressed about going to every single thing. This way I could really enjoy every moment of it, rather than speed through it. It was the best decision. I got the preview a bunch of amazing swimsuit for the upcoming year, hang out and mingle I don’t get to see often and of course grab drinks with my favorite people and just enjoy each others company.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I was going to film footage for my Youtube Channel and also share it with you guys. It took me a few days to edit and be satisfied with the end results so I hope you guys enjoy it!

During the madness of MBFWSWIM, I only got to shoot one outfit and for that I can thank Ryan. I picked an outfit to keep myself as cool as possible and even then I still managed to sweat a bit. It’s all good because when you’re having a blast you kind of tend to forget that you’re sweating and who cares anyways because everyone else was in the same boat . haha.

A lovely white StyleStalker top, a pair of faux leather gym shorts and a high ponytail and I was ready to take on day one . This year’s swim week was pretty great. I got to hang out with my awesome friends, met new ones, went to some great shows (Mara Hoffman’s show was IT for me) and got to hang out backstage with Stila Cosmetics . Oh and let’s not forget about the fun after-parties. The exhaustion that came when it was all over was definitely worth it.

Outfit details / Style Stalker top c/o Daily Look –  Zara faux leather shorts (similar) – French Connection katrin leather sandals (on sale!) c/o – Alexander Wang sling pelican bag – Rayban clubmaster  c/o SmartBuyGlasses – Gorjana x Nordstrom “Mika” necklace c/o Nordstrom – Vanessa Mooney anarchy choker (in silver)

Even though I didn’t take much photos, I did manage to put together a recap video and I’m really happy with it. I hope you like it as much as I do, you can subscribe to my Youtube page HERE.

Lacoste 80th Celebration

Ria Michelle & I

Little “croc” gummies!

Netty and I

Last week I was invited to attend Lacoste’s 80th Anniversary event held at Addict in the Bal Harbour Shops.  The shop was quickly filled by my fellow Miami bloggers and Miami locals that definitely wanted to have a good time, shop, and be a part of the celebration. It wouldn’t have been a proper bash without all the little green “crocs” scattered across the room. So detailed! I was lucky enough to have been sent a pair of Lacoste shoes for the event. I chose the style “Ziane Par“, they were super comfortable and most importantly very cute and just right for me. With the shoes, I decided to go with a casual sporty look, a long sleeved black crop top and my current favorite black Zara skirt. The event was a total success and I had an amazing time!

Thank you Lacoste for having me!

Disaronno Terrace – Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe at the press junket for his new film “Kill Your Darlings”.

Daniel’s beloved fans waiting to meet him! (So lucky)

Daniel being interview by Ciak (Italian Magazine) and also meeting his fans.

Tess Posthumus, winner of Disaronno’s Mixing Star competition.

Nathan Burdette, this year’s USA Mixing Star winner.

One of my favorite young hollywood actor Daniel Radcliffe made an appearance at the Venice Film Festival. His new movie “Kill Your Darlings” (trailer below) was a featured presentation at the festival and some fans even got to chance to meet him. Talk about being lucky! Later on, Disaronno hosted a party in which Radcliffe was the guest star of the night.  All of the attendees had their Disaronno cocktails made by two winning Mixing Stars, Nathan Burdette and Tess Posthumus. Clearly, Disaronno can do no wrong. They know how to host an eventful night.
