My Son, My Family, My World

April 1st of 2018 will no doubt be the best day of my life. The day my son, my whole world was born. Just typing those words gives me goosebumps. I mean, I’m a MOM. Wow. He has brought so much joy and so so so much love into our lives. He turned 10 months old today and all I want to do is slow down time. Every parent I know says the same thing and it’s because even though the first couple of months are extremely trying and there’s always something to be worried about or always something to do in between everything else. You just want those tiny moments with them to last forever. There’s a quote that I read while Nathan was just a few weeks old that hit me hard and I most definitely bawled my eyes out (still do). It goes like this “The Nights are so very long. But the years, are so very short“.

I’m forever changed because of my son, in the best way possible. Now to plan my little ones 1st birthday!

Disaronno Terrace at the 70th Venice Film Festival

The 70th Venice Film Festival is currently taking place and since Disaronno is the official sponsor and being one of their brand ambassadors I decided to post a bit on it. There were so many beautiful looks on the opening ceremony of the movie “Gravity” so I went ahead and posted my favorite red carpet looks. The  dress that took my breathe away was blogger babes Chiara Ferragni (The Blonde Salad) who wore a lovely Alberta Ferretti gown. So gorgeouss.

Disaronno is also hosting it’s classic Disaronno Contemporary Terrace in which daily events will occur, press conferences, meetings with film directors and actors, and of course unbelievable after-parties.

You can keep yourself updated by following Disaronno on their facebook page, blog, or Instagram.

Can’t do a Sunday brunch without bottomless mimosas.

I’m pretty sure this was the best brunch I’ve ever had at this cute little spot called Sugar Cafe.

The Golden Gate bridge completely had me in awe. So beautiful.

Our hotel view with some fog action. Crrrazy.

Already want to go back to S.F to have some more of these bomb oysters. SO GOOD!

The impact this trip to San Francisco had on me completely took me by surprise. Mainly because I don’t deal well with cold weather and well it’s summer so of course I find myself always needing the warmth of the sun on my skin at all times. I mean, I’m a Miami girl so yeah. Anyway, the cold actually wasn’t so bad and the city itself just made me forget about weather. That alone is a big deal.

Those 5 days went by so fast but we definitely tried to cram in as much as we could and did a little bit of everything. Outside Lands was one of those things and man was it awesome. My love for music is pretty evident so being in a music festival is pretty much like paradise to me and just the fact that I got to see the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and jam to their killer set list (they played date with a night, gold lion, art star, maps, heads will roll, just to name a few!)  just makes me that much of a happier person.

The ASOS penthouse was another highlight of my trip. I got the chance to hang out with cool S.F peeps, have a couple of drinks and just enjoy the night setting with great music blaring in the background. Totally can’t beat that. Plus ASOS had awesome gift bags for their guests so the whole night was just a win/win all around.

The remainder of our days included eating at awesome little spots, doing tourist things but mainly just trying to enjoy the city as much as we could. It was definitely an unforgettable trip and so glad my girl Ria let me tag along and experience the whole thing with her, love her! I’m already anxious to go back. hehe

Be on the look out for my next post because I’ll be doing an epic giveaway and I can only hope you don’t want to miss out on that!

lipstick: MAC neon orange

I’m currently LIVING for this Zara crop top that I would’ve never gotten if I didn’t spot it on Yuka’s (Pretty in leather) Instagram. It’s so much cooler in person because you can see the amazing jacquard fabric. Not your average crop top, that’s for sure.

So in one day I’ll be in San Francisco with my girl/bff/ROD Ria Michelle! It’s going to be my first time there so I’m pretty excited to explore the city. I’ll also be meeting up with some blogger babes, which is another thing I’m looking forward to. Its going to be pretty great. We have the Outside Lands festival and the ASOS penthouse event in our itinerary so maybe we’ll see some of you guys out there!

You can also follow me on instagram (@prettystellar) to see what I’m up to in San Fran.  🙂

Okay, I need to stop procrastinating and start packing. eekk!
