Sunday Brunch #WinTheDay

[Angela deep V top c/o Cooper & Ella]

[Zara heels & skirt]

[UNIF trench coat]

[Karen Walker sunglasses]

[Clearasil products given to me by Clearasil to try out]

I don’t know about you but every time Sunday comes rolling in, my first thought is “I want Brunch!”. So that’s exactly what I did this weekend. Of course, I have to begin my getting ready process before any of that happens. The cleansing of my face is probably one of my favorite and important steps when starting any day and helps me Win The Day too. I’ve been using Clearasil to remove to any leftover makeup and of course to exfoliate my face. After that begins the applying of my makeup and then the choosing of the outfit. Voila and I’m done. I decided to go Gigi’s to treat myself to some mouth watering brunch. I went with my usual which is their french toast and pork buns, all which go oh so well with a mimosa. Let’s just say I was in heaven. Gigi’s is a MUST if you’re in the Miami area.

When it came to choosing my outfit, I wanted something light and with a little lace detailing. This white Cooper & Ella blouse was just what I wanted to put on. I adore the placement of the lace, it’s so delicate and sexy at the same time. Since it had been raining I grabbed my favorite trench coat to give me some kind of security and to also add a little somethin to my outfit. Anyway, hasn’t my hair gotten crazy long? I keep postponing a haircut but it’s definitely time for one. I have to add that to my to-do list. Yikes.

OH! Clearasil is currently offering a FREE Rebate for their product. I mean, it’s free you guys. Check that out!

Brand New Year

[Caught up crop top c/o 2020ave]

[Topshop vinyl pencil skirt in camel]

[Alexander Wang pelican sling bag]

First and foremost, Happy New Year everyone! 2013 came and left so fast, kind of creeped me out but 2014 is here and I’m feeling pretty great about it. I didn’t really bother setting any New Year resolutions because I personally have come to the conclusion that it just puts too much pressure on yourself. Forget that. I’m going to spend this new year being as happy as I can be and take one day at a time. That’s it.

So I’ve been wanting to try something new so I went ahead and purchased a vinyl skirt because the material really intrigued me. I went with the classic shape of a pencil skirt to make it as flattering as possible (justtt in case) and I’m so glad I did because it fits so freaking great. I love it so much that I want a black version of it or something like it. Of course, I felt the need to pair it with this awesome crop top. It’s definitely not your average crop top too, it has a lovely high neck with a slight rise in the center. It’s perfect. 2020ve carries so many good things and they’re price range is even better. If you haven’t checked them out, please do.

Okay I’m off to go continue my Lost daze. I’m addicted to that show and I don’t even why. Hah!

Dark and Floral

[floral skater dress c/o Missguided]

[Zara heels]

[lucite purse c/o Forever 21]

[initial necklace c/o Onecklace ]

/ lipstick – Revlon in black cherry\

This little dress caught my attention while browsing Missguided’s dress section. Summer may be over but that doesn’t mean you have to steer away from floral print. This little skater dress has a lovely dark floral print , perfect for fall/winter. I feel like it goes so well with my style, you know feminine but still with a “dark” edge to it. Yep, I’m all for it. I also love that once it starts to cool down you can just layer it up and add some tights to it but for now it’s perfect just as is.

Anywho, I have so many things on my mind. The main thing at the moment though is Art Basel. AH! Basically, I need to get my act together. ASAP.

Unwinding

I won’t lie, I spent my weekend doing absolutely nothing. This of course was by choice. It was just one of those weekends where you just want to lay on the couch and catch up to everything and more importantly just chill out. I decided to pamper myself with a little bit of Tiziano Prosecco because you obviously can’t truly “pamper  yourself” without some nice Italian bubbly. Sipping prosecco in the middle of the afternoon, don’t mind if I do. Anyway, I went ahead and picked out my current favorite nail polish which is called Overcast by Forever 21, it’s a nice grey that is perfect for the fall/winter. To add a little pit of sparkle, I paired it with Essie’s luxe effect in Set in Stones. A way cooler effect than your typical glitter polish but still kind of annoying to remove. In this case, I don’t really care because I really love the polish. Let’s just say my evening was well spent, I cannot complain.

Moschino loves Disaronno

I don’t think Disaronno could have chosen a better Fashion House to help them design a limited edition bottle, Moschino nailed it. The classic Disaronno bottle is adorned with Moschino’s signature hearts and of course with the bold colors of red and black combined. This special edition bottle should be available in stores so keep your eyes peeled! You don’t want to miss out on the chance to own the Mochino Loves Disaronno bottle.  Trust me.

Oh! Disaronno made a special cocktail to celebrate the collaboration with Moschino! It’s called…

DISARONNO LOVES SOUR

* 40 ml Disaronno

* 15 ml lemon juice

* 7 muddled cranberries

Shaken and strained in a flute with no ice

Topped with Champagne

Voila!

Talk you guys soon and let me know what you think of this collaboration! <3
