I have found that finding things that are easy to throw on, easy to grab (for the baby) make the nonstop life of a mom a whole lot easier. The concept sounds easy when you say it out loud but these things come to you with time and LOTS of practice.

For me, it’s important to look put together when I step out of the house. It just makes me feel good and happy. It may sound kind of silly to some but when your life is a series of having back to back’s and you barely have time for yourself, it kind of helps set the tone for that specific day for you to tackle it head on.

Same goes to having a good stroller for the babe. We were lucky to be gifted this stroller so we currently have two! The one we purchased is the Bugaboo Cameleon 3, in which we love but the Stellar is bigger and has a better bottom compartment for all the things the baby needs. They’re also great quality, have cool accessories, and can even be customizable. Love it. I’ve always been a Bugaboo lover so choosing one when we were stroller shopping was a no brainer.

My Son, My Family, My World

April 1st of 2018 will no doubt be the best day of my life. The day my son, my whole world was born. Just typing those words gives me goosebumps. I mean, I’m a MOM. Wow. He has brought so much joy and so so so much love into our lives. He turned 10 months old today and all I want to do is slow down time. Every parent I know says the same thing and it’s because even though the first couple of months are extremely trying and there’s always something to be worried about or always something to do in between everything else. You just want those tiny moments with them to last forever. There’s a quote that I read while Nathan was just a few weeks old that hit me hard and I most definitely bawled my eyes out (still do). It goes like this “The Nights are so very long. But the years, are so very short“.

I’m forever changed because of my son, in the best way possible. Now to plan my little ones 1st birthday!

It’s already been a year since I married the dreamiest man, my man. It honestly feel like we blinked and here we are, celebrating our one year. Wow.

It’s here so I decided to celebrate by sharing some of our wedding photos. It’s funny because we just moved a few months ago and now is when we’re in the process of printing some of these bad boys. LATE but feels so good!

I can go into crazy details when it comes to my wedding, even the planning process but I won’t. I’m going to try to keep it shortish and sweet.

We decided we did not want to get married in Miami. Yes, Miami has really nice wedding venues, heck some of them are beautiful but there’s nothing really unique about them (well, to us). Maybe I feel this way because I’ve seen it all and I just find them boring now. So one day Justin was looking at wedding videos and came across this breathtaking estate with such beautiful land full of greenery and it just looked like you were somewhere in Tuscany. After realizing that it was located in Central Florida, we were immediately convinced that THIS WAS IT. We didn’t bother continuing our hunt. We set up a site visit and booked it right there and then. One of the best decisions we’ve made together.

Our wedding day was perfect and I’m not just saying that. It was absolutely EVERYTHING and more. There were tears, laughter, pure happiness, tons of dancing and of course, plenty of champagne. All of our guest had an incredible time. Even till this day they talk about it, we all want to go back in time. It was just that great. Sigh. If only. I also got to wear my dream wedding gown by my all time favorite bridal designer, Vera Wang. Pure magic all around.

Tying the knot to my favorite human and celebrating it with these special people, well there’s no price for something like that. I just feel like the luckiest person in the world. Truly. I’d do it all over. In a heartbeat.

– To my husband, I can’t put into words how amazing you are. You just are. I never thought my love for you could grow but it has, immensely. I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for us, even though I already have a nice clue. xox

Okay, let’s cue to Rihanna’s “You da One”.

Oh life and it’s crazy shitty curve balls. Just when I made a point to be more active, my husband suddenly needs to have surgery to get his appendix out. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories when it comes to appendectomies but luckily everything turned out great. Our lives were turned upside down for awhile but I’m grateful that he’s back to his old self again.

I had shot this look weeks ago before the craziness and now is when I finally get to post it. I’ve suddenly turned into this crazy Gucci hoarder but in all reality, these splurges were mostly gifts from my sweet husband. We like to spoil each other from time to time. What can I say. However, I did treat myself to these killer Gucci cat eye sunglasses, which are obviously my favorite style. I had been wanting them for quite so time now and my birthday was right around the corner so hell, why not?! For whatever reason, I can always justify a pair of designer sunglasses, with the price tag and all. There’s just my thing, you know? Shrug.

BURNT ORANGE | VEUVE CLICQUOT CARNAVAL VIDEO

The anticipated Veuve Clicquot Carnaval came and went so quickly. The event took place a couple of weeks ago and per usual, it was pretty amazing. I mean, who says no to endless champagne and rosé. Mix that with great music and your favorite people and you’ve really got the best combo ever. I shot some footage of the event here in Miami and put together a short video. You may or may not see a dance sesh in action. 🙂 Ejoy!

As you can tell, my impatience cause me to once again cut my hair. This time, way shorter than I wanted but luckily now I find myself obsessed with it. Short hair has become part of my identity and I really can’t imagine myself with long hair anymore. So bizarre, I know.

I purchased this little NICHOLAS number during ShopBop’s sale and I definitely came out winning. I’ve been wanting a burnt orange dress for awhile now, something fun and a bit out of my comfort zone (I do not own a single orange tone item!). This dress is IT. It’s long and flowy, has cut outs in the right places and the best touch is the neck tie with a bow detail in the back. My absolute favorite.

Basically, the perfect spring/summer dress to make you feel all kinds of pretty. Who doesn’t need that in their closet?
